Abstract:
Deals with different varieties of the
Persian language through presenting some
examples. Emphasizes on the fact that for
practical reasons, we need to select various
elements in Persian. Dialogues should appear
real, and the recorded materials should
include various speech sounds, pauses,
intonations, and in natural speed.
Comprehension competence claimed to be much
more important than communicative competence
in teaching Persian for special purposes.
Concludes that communication is not only
involved in comprehension, but also in
production (i.e. speaking and writing).
