Abstract: Aims at teaching the basics of Persian to Chinese students of eastern languages in the first and second years of undergraduate program at Beijing University. Volume 2 is divided into two (elementary and advanced) parts, and teaches the basics of modern Persian, grammar of written Persian, and about three thousands lexical items. The grammar deals with adjectives and verb tenses. The texts are selected from Persian books of Elementary Schools in Iran, followed by some exercises. Ends with a Chinese-Persian glossary.
