Abstract:  Contains an introduction, two main sections and an appendix of Russian-Persian and Persian-Russian vocabularies. The first section introduces readers to the Persian alphabet and its sounds while the second contains eighteen grammar lessons, which include a dialogue, texts, proverbs, clarifying examples, a variety of exercises and follow-up discussions.  The grammar lessons discuss the use of verbs, prepositions and adjectives. The Cyrillic alphabet is used to show the proper pronunciation of Persian words.
