Abstract: Consists of an introduction and two parts for Persian grammar and texts.  Part 1 teaches the alphabet and Persian writing, some Persian vocabulary and their Arabic equivalents, types of nouns, tenses, adjectives, pronouns and numbers.  Part 2 consists of 109 different Persian texts, each of which followed by new vocabulary along with their Arabic equivalents and exercises.  Texts include general or literary subjects, such as proverbs and maxims, neighbors of Iran, cities in Iran, family relations, etc.  At the end comes a Persian-Arabic glossary including the words used in the texts, and an appendix on some Persian verbs in three columns: Persian infinitive, equivalent in Arabic and its Persian imperative form.
