Abstract: Comprised of twenty main and nineteen complementary lessons, one appendix and a Persian-English, English-Persian glossary. Each main lesson contains a simple grammatical point, new vocabulary, conversation or basic sentences and various exercises. The final lessons prepare the student for conversation. Complementary lessons teach Persian orthography and sounds with separate exercises. The appendix contains a summery of the basic lessons, accompanied by grammatical points. Persian pronunciation is taught through phonetic alphabet.
