Many of the socio-economic consulting projects carried out by the bureau rely on accurate data gathered in the field. Under the supervision and management of its director this group has organized
different teams comprised of university students and technicians. This group draws its strength in part
from an extensive network of professionals within
the community of Iranian statisticians at large and
the Iranian Census Bureau. The group has carried
out such tasks as data acquisition, statistical and critical analysis of the data, demographic studies, research and field work.
