This group was established as an entry point for the Cultural Research Bureau into the Iranian film industry. The following is a list of their goals:

• Organization and management of research projects aimed at studying cultural, artistic, technical, industrial and economic dimensions of film and cinema.
  
  
• Publication of books and articles on film and cinema.
  
  
• Planning and implementation of publication and press projects related to film and cinema.
  
  
• Consulting in the fields of film, television and cinema.
  
  
• Translation of film scenario.
  
  
• Production film scenario and / or acquisition of film rights.
  
  
• Film production solely or in partnership on various films of subject and length
